Your e-commerce expertise will be essential, but just as important will be your leadership and interpersonal skills. You will be entering a somewhat traditional arena as a change agent. Both internally and externally, that arena places a high value on relationships, including handshakes and face-to-face meetings.

You'll join in the early stages of substantial changes. If you're the person we're looking for, you have experience managing change, including influencing and motivating others. In addition, there will be a degree of ambiguity; you'll need to be comfortable with that, even as you build the structures that will replace ambiguity.

In addition, to be an outstanding Director, Ecommerce (D2C), you will:
  • Look at the channel with a commercial view and bring a mix of understanding of marketing and media, a focus on KPIs and a revenue-driven mindset
  • Focus on new customers including topline revenue, customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), etc.
  • Combine creativity and analytical thinking in solving problems and overcoming challenges
  • Achieve goals independently while also contributing as a team player
  • Keep a constant eye out for ways to improve processes and efficiencies
  • Own the e-commerce big picture, but also pay attention to details
