To meet the basic qualification for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship. In addition, to be a good fit for the Distribution Supervisor opportunity, you will have:
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience within a warehousing or distribution center environment
  • 2+ years of previous supervisory experience, ideally working with teams of 15-20+  Quick question for you - click here
  • Outstanding leadership qualities including assertiveness, enthusiasm, planning and accountability
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with intense peak seasons
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate across all levels of an organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills
  • A proven work ethic including reliability
  • Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Previous WMS system experience preferred
  • Previous labor tracking system experience helpful
You will work our first shift, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Additionally, you may be asked to work some Saturdays, especially during peak seasons. Saturday work is rotated between supervisors.

Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly planning for the 1st shift Distribution team. You will monitor, coach and direct the team, including a lead and approximately 20 temporary (the majority) and permanent associates, to achieve department and Distribution Center goals. You will regularly and effectively communicate with associates, evaluate and plan the workload and assignments, coordinate with other departments and stakeholders, coach performance and more. Specifically, you will:
  • Maintain the department labor budget, planning, and resource requirements while ensuring adequate staffing to meet departmental goals.
  • Oversee picking accuracy while ensuring customer ship dates are met and products are accurately unloaded and stocked.
  • Control shrink with continuous analysis and improvement of all department processes and procedures.
  • Develop associates to achieve performance goals and objectives via on-the-job training, coaching, and continuous feedback on performance.
  • Promote excellent communication and teamwork amongst associates through open communication and daily start-up meetings.
  • Create and maintain a safe work environment; ensuring associates have the proper equipment to perform their job function and provide education on proper techniques. 
  • Ensure associates meet their required daily rates in the labor management system. Coach each employee to foster continuous improvement.
